Boilermaker / Welder - Qld

Job summary

Digga, Australia's largest manufacturer of Earthmoving attachments for the Machinery industry is undergoing rapid growth and expansion both locally and internationally. Our manufacturing department has vacancies for Boilermakers / Welders to join our dynamic team located in Yatala.

As a Digga Boilermaker, you will be a highly qualified individual with extensive knowledge in steel welding and fabrication. Working in a production environment, you will be responsible for safely, welding our range of manufactured equipment to a high standard of quality.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 4-5yrs Experience in a similar role
  • Trade qualifications in Metal Fabrication or Boilermaking
  • Experience in reading and interpreting drawings will be an advantage
  • An ability and desire to produce the highest quality fabrications
  • Current forklift license an advantage but not essential
  • OH&S awareness

A weld test will be mandatory and a pre-employment medical is required.

This is a permanent position of 38 hours per week - Monday through to Friday, plus overtime as required, working day shift. This role will be due to commence immediately.
