Warehouse worker - Qld

Job summary

Digga is seeking expressions of interest for experienced warehouse workers. Major responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receiving incoming goods, unloading, unpacking and checking goods against paperwork
  • Loading trucks
  • General maintenance and housekeeping of warehouse
  • Assisting in putting away and maintaining stock
  • Picking, packing, weighing and preparing orders and accurately completing associated paperwork
  • Safely operating a forklift
  • Moving, stacking, packing, and assembling goods as necessary

The applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following experience / qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Must have a current Forklift Ticket (High Risk Work Licence) and current drivers licence
  • Must have the physical ability to perform this role (ability to carry up to 25kg at waist height, present good cardiovascular fitness, safely meet function task requirements including standing, walking, sitting, push/pull, ladder climbing, lumbar rotation, dynamic squatting, forward bending and overhead reach)
  • Must have a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and a willingness to comply with this
